Where the
water comes from and the quality of that
water depends on technology, and
properly trained individuals to use that
technology. Membranes are to water
treatment what the microchip is to
information technology.
According to a respected engineering
group, membrane water treatment
technology, as a whole, is growing 10 to
40 percent annually.
For
example: The power industry uses water
as part of the energy generation
process. The pharmaceutical industry
must use pure water in medication. And
the semiconductor industry uses the
purest water in the world for computer
chip manufacturing. Membrane water
treatment is used for the production of
almost every product you use.
But
there is one HUGE problem. There are not
enough trained water treatment
professionals in the industry.
